Technical parameters: Sinking (S), length 70 mm, weight 19 g.
Class VIB wobbler for fishing in depth and current, “casting” and vertical jigging. Target trophies are pike perch, bass, pike and perch.
Design features: WOLF 70S has two relief surface textures separated by a side line. The upper part is made in the form of diamond-shaped notches, the lower part - in the form of oblique notches. The head part of the wobbler imitates the gill covers of a fish in relief. Glued-in 3D eyes complete the realistic design of the bait. WOLF 70S is equipped with two high-quality tees of the appropriate size, reliable fittings and power winding rings. Modern paintwork and a wide selection of colors in the catalog.
Animation: When casting with the WOLF 70S, two main types of animation are applicable - uniform and stepped. When retrieving evenly, it is important to ensure that the bait moves close to the bottom and the predator’s hiding places. Despite its compactness, the wobbler has a decent weight, so the depths acceptable for casting fishing start from 4-5 meters and deeper. With a slow retrieve speed, you can fish deep edges and underwater spits up to 10-12+ meters. With a uniform retrieve, you can make throws, swings, and short pauses with the rod, thus including acceleration and short moments of free fall in the retrieve.
The stepped wiring of the WOLF 70S is similar to the way we are used to working with jig baits. Fishing depths from 4-5 to 12+ meters. We perform the wiring with a reel, making from one to five revolutions (depending on the fishing conditions), followed by a pause until the bait contacts the bottom.
Vertical jigging will also be effective when fishing with the WOLF 70S. This method can be used to fish from a boat controlled by the current over a selected area of relief, as well as stationary, with the boat anchored above a specific bottom structure. The significant dead weight of the WOLF 70S will allow the angler to accurately deliver the bait even in the presence of a noticeable current. When the wobbler is pulled upward by the rod, the bait oscillates, and when it falls freely, it moves away from the vertical, reminiscent of the game of balance beams.
The vertical feed of the WOLF 70S is also applicable when fishing from ice in winter in large deep reservoirs, lakes and rivers when hunting for pike perch, bersh, pike and burbot. It is also possible to use the WOLF 70S when fishing for starting trout in commercial reservoirs.
The leash when using the WOLF 70S does not have a negative impact on the animation capabilities.
Set of gear for casting fishing: Rod 7-8 feet fast action, test up to 25-35 gr. Reel 3000-4000 according to the Shimano line. Cord #1.0-1.5.
